Lincoln Fire Department has been proudly serving the community of Lincoln for over 100 years. We serve a population of over 5500 Lincoln and Chester permanent residents covering a 97 square mile area. The area is comprised of rural homes, subdivisions, light commercial businesses and heavy industry. US Route 2 & Maine Route 6 intersect in downtown Lincoln, Maine. With the continued residential and commercial growth the department will see a steady increase in services provided annually. LFD provides mutual aid to Howland, Enfield, Lee, Mattawamkeag, Springfield, Passadumkeag, and also provides Jaws of Life service to 12 miles of Interstate 95. We would like to thank the community for their continuous support.
The Lincoln Police Department takes pride in its collaborative efforts with the schools and community to find solutions to the problems that face the Town of Lincoln that affects the overall quality of Life. Our mission is to provide professional Law Enforcement services that ensure the safety of the residents and those who visit.
The Lincoln Police Department has established programs with the schools such as The Every 15 Minute, Drug Awareness, Bicycle Rodeo and Bullying Programs. The Police Department takes pride in their Drug Enforcement activities and their success in solving criminal activity. This has been accomplished by developing relationships throughout the community who have worked with us in solving crimes. The Police Department also takes pride in working alongside the Lincoln Fire Department to bring the best public safety services to Lincoln in a combined effort.
