The Town of Lincoln invites you to join us as we pay tribute to Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and Lincoln, Maine native, MSG Gary Gordon.

On June 29th, we will be honoring his life and ultimate sacrifice with a whole day filled with patriotic events dedicated to him.
On Friday, June 28th we are planning a candle light vigil to honor MSG Gary Gordon at 8:30 pm at Veteran's Memorial on Goding Ave.

On Saturday, June 29th we will start the day with a Youth Run/Walk/Bike around the track at MA (12 and under) at 8 am.

The 5th Annual MSG Gary Gordon, MOH 5K Run/Walk will begin promptly at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 29th at the MA Track.
Please arrive by 8:30 am in order to hear the opening announcements.

Participation in this event can be in-person in Lincoln, Maine, or virtually from anywhere in the world.This takes place at MA. To register, and to learn more about this "Virtual 5K", please follow this link.

At 2 pm we will be dedicating the Lincoln/Chester Bridge to MSG Gary Gordon. The bridge dedication ceremony will take place on the Lincoln side of the bridge. Local representatives, Sheldon Hanington and Kathy Javner will be speaking at the dedication. Ernie Smith will be playing bagpipes at the ceremony.

After the Ceremony there will be a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the K of C Hall starting at 4 pm. The dinner is a $10 suggested donation at the door. From 4- 5:00 pm will be a social hour and the dinner will start at 5:00 pm. There will also be a Silent Auction. We are still taking donations for food and the silent auction. After the dinner, there will be a dance featuring The Mainely Country Band, they will be playing until 10:00 pm.
