The 2019  Lincoln Loon Festival is July 18th-21st. Don’t miss Lincoln’s Premier family-friendly summer festival! Featuring food, music, artisans/crafters, train rides, beach events, and activities for the kids! Featured events include: The Redneck Regatta, 72nd Annual River Drivers’ Supper, 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Live Music and Fireworks at Cobb Field and much more!

Thursday, July 18

All day: Art display by local Artist Paul Thibodeau at the New Town Office.  Paintings are available for viewing and for purchase

8 am-2 pm: Friends of the Lincoln Memorial Library book sale at the Library. Donations are welcomed!

9 am-3 pm: Open House at Lincoln Historical Society.

11 am: Vendors and kiddie games at Veterans’ Memorial Square (All Day).

4 pm: 72nd Annual River Drivers’ Supper at Ludden Field. Bean hole beans, reflector oven biscuits, coleslaw, hot dogs, chips, coffee, punch and water and desserts by the riverside. Sponsored by the First Congo Church Men’s Club and Pilgrim Daughters. Supper will be moved to the Congo Church if it rains.

5pm- 9pm: Come join Dakota Powers at Tim Horton’s for the Magic the Gathering Meet.  Anyone of any level of experience in Magic playing may attend. Please bring your own cards and come and play with other duelist and make friends with other players.  You can play any style of duels in Magic The Gathering here like commander and casual.  Hope to see fellow players join us.

5:30-7 pm: The Wicked Good Band live at Veterans Memorial Square

7 pm-8 pm:  Paradise live at Veterans Memorial Square

8-10 pm: Low Talker live at Veterans Memorial Square. They play all of your favorite rock, 90’s, funk and jam music hits. They will have something for everyone to enjoy! 

Friday, July 19

1 pm-5 pm: Bounce house and inflatable obstacle course at Cobb Field

3 pm-9 pm: Roaming Railroad train rides. See what’s happening from the comfort of a care-free ride around downtown.

Noon: Lunch entertainment with Solid Rock Band at Veterans Memorial Square

Noon-3 pm: Children’s beach events at Prince Thomas Park. Water balloon toss, life jacket relay, messy obstacle course, and CANDY!!!!

2pm-4pm: Full Gospel Camp Can Do, Fleming Street

4pm-7pm:  Roger Stevens (Grand Marshal of the Parade) of Mainely Focus Photography Book Launch! Mama Gray Saves the Day!

4-5:30 pm: Wildwoods Band at Veterans Memorial Square

5 pm-8 pm: Lincoln Cruise-In at Dysarts. Come see some beautiful classics and hot rods at Dysarts on West Broadway. Cruise in with your Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, classics and relics! Spectators will vote for the winner, BEST OVERALL 1st, 2nd, 3rd! Prizes will be awarded! This event is FREE! 

5 pm-8 pm: Errol Libby Band live at Tim Horton’s!

5:30 pm-7:00 pm: Downeast Brass Quintet at Veterans’ Memorial Square

8 pm-11 pm:  90’s Dance Party Featuring The Shizzle-  The Shizzle is a themed Dance Band that plays Pop, Hip Hop, R&B hits from the 80’s to the present with live musicians. They are based out of central Maine, and they are excited to get the party started in Lincoln at the Loon Festival! This takes place at Cobb Field. 

Saturday, July 20

All day: Art display by local artist Paul Thibodeau at the new Town Office. Paintings are available for viewing and purchase.

10 am-1 pm: 2nd Annual Lego Tent at the Lincoln Memorial Library. Come play legos! Additionaly, there will be the 1st annual Library Loon Festival art wall. 

10:30 am-11 am:  The Children’s Parade will be starting at the Public Safety Building and will end at the Lincoln Memorial Library where you can watch the Loon Festival Parade! Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon or stroller and be a part of the fun! Contact Ashley Mitchell with any questions 466-0668. No need to register, just show up ready to have some fun! 

11 am: Vendors and kiddie games at Veterans’ Memorial Square (All Day).

11 am-1 pm: Our annual Loon Festival Parade. This year’s theme is “Wicked Mainer!” 

12:00 pm: Historical Society Auction PRE-VIEW at Veterans’ Memorial Square.  

12:30 pm: Historical Society Auction at Veterans’ Memorial Square.  Bidding begins at 12:30 sharp. Bring a chair to the auction in the square!

1 pm-7 pm: Moose Maine-iah Train rides for children under 10 at Veteran’s Memorial Square

2:00 pm-5:00 pm: American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Basket Bingo on Fleming Street. Prizes from local businesses!

2:30 pm: The 6th Annual Redneck Regatta! This is a Loon Festival favorite! Contestants make boats out of cardboard and duct tape and race on the beautiful Mattanawcook Pond. The boat check-in starts at 2:00 pm and the Regatta starts at 2:30 pm. This is a spectacle you won’t want to miss. 

4:30-6:15 pm: Ryan Carter Band Performs at Cobb Field

6 pm: Annual Alumni dinner at Mattanawcook Academy.

6:30-7:45 pm: Quicksand Sadie Performs at Cobb Field with free hotdogs served by Machias Savings Bank

8pm-til the fireworks: Pre-fireworks show with The Jacob Smalley Band at Cobb Field with free hotdogs served by Machias Savings Bank

9:30ish: Grand Fireworks Show on Mattanawcook Lake at Cobb Field.

Sunday, July 22

8-10 am: 5k Color Run at MA Track/Walking Trail 

10 am: Morning Service at Cobb Field, brought to you by Maranatha Riverside Baptist Church 

1 pm:  Day two of the 3 on 3 Basketball tournament at Prince Thomas Park. Double elimination, 15 years old and up, 3 to 5 person teams. $5.00 entry fee. More info call 207-794-6548.
