The Town of Lincoln and the Events and Tourism Committee would like to extend our sincerest gratitude and thanks to Maranatha Riverside Church for volunteering to do the clean up after the Festival. 
Poland Spring will have their Hydration Station at the Loon Festival, providing free waters all weekend. 

 

 

 

 

SCHEDULE

Thursday, July 19

8 am-3 pm: Friends of the Lincoln Memorial Library book sale – Library.

9 am-3 pm: Open House at Lincoln Historical Society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

11 am: Vendors, Bounce House, and kiddie games at Veterans’ Memorial Square (All Day).

4 pm: 71st Annual River Drivers’ Supper at Ludden Field. Bean hole beans, reflector oven biscuits, coleslaw, hot dogs, chips, coffee, punch and water and desserts by the riverside. Sponsored by the First Congo Church Men’s Club and Pilgrim Daughters. Supper will be moved to the Congo Church if it rains.

 

 

 

 

7 pm-10 pm:  Teen Dance at Veterans’ Memorial Square with DJ Chuck Foster. Sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8:30 pm- Fireworks show at Cobb Field brought to you by Big Bang Boom Fireworks. 

Friday, July 20

9 am-3 pm: Open House at Lincoln Historical Society.

11 am: Vendors, Bounce House, and kiddie games at Veterans’ Memorial Square (All Day). 

11:30-7 pm: Roaming Railroad train rides. See what’s happening from the comfort of a care-free ride around downtown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Noon-3 pm: Children’s beach events at Prince Thomas Park. Water balloon toss, life jacket relay, messy obstacle course, and CANDY!!!!

2-4 pm: Kids’ Event, bounce house, games, munchies. Meet Maine’s Own NFL Player Matt Mulligan. Full Gospel Tabernacle, 14 Fleming Street.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4 pm-6 pm:  BBQ at Steaks N’ Stuff parking lot benefiting Community Kids. BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, and drinks. $7.00 for adults. Kids 12 and under $5.00.

1:30 pm-4 pm: The Wildwoods Band will be performing at Veterans’ Memorial Square. They are a central Maine band who play country music and a little rock n’ roll. Sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5 pm: Lincoln Cruise-In at Dysarts.   Come see some beautiful classics at Dysarts on West Broadway. Cruise in with your Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, classics and relics! Spectators will vote for the winner, BEST OVERALL 1st, 2nd, 3rd! Prizes will be awarded! This event is FREE! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5-8 pm- Adult Dance at Veterans’ Memorial Square featuring the Errol Libby Band. Sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5:30 pm:Carl Burrill Post 77 American Legion’s Bingo. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

8 pm-11 pm:  90’s Dance Party Featuring The Shizzle-  The Shizzle is a themed Dance Band that plays Pop, Hip Hop, R&B hits from the 80’s to the present with live musicians. They are based out of central Maine, and they are excited to get the party started in Lincoln at the Loon Festival! This takes place at Cobb Field. 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday, July 21

6:30-9 am: Annual Mason’s Breakfast at the Masonic Lodge. Pancakes,  sausage, coffee,and juice.

9 am-3 pm: School House Quilters Exhibition at Congregational Church

7:30 am: Join Maine Audubon for their Annual Loon Count. This will take place at all the lakes. For more information visit Maine Audubon Annual Loon Count.

8 am-12 pm: The Lincoln Memorial Library will be open, stop in to view our wide array of all things Loon!

10:30 am: Lego Tent at the Lincoln Memorial Library!  Come play Legos! 

All Day- Full Gospel Tabernacle will be holding children’s activities all day! Located on Fleming St. 

10-2 pm: Roaming Railroad Train Rides. Free rides around downtown, except during parade. See all the goings on from the comfort of a breezy train ride!

10-2 pm: First United Methodist Church is  having aStrawberry Festival” it  includes hot dogs and soda for $3.00 and strawberry shortcake for $5.00.

10 am: The Children’s Parade is back! The parade will be starting at the Public Safety Building and will end at the Lincoln Memorial Library where you can watch the Loon Festival Parade! Come dressed up as your favorite book character (or whatever you would like!)  Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon or stroller and be a part of the fun! Immediately following the parade: $5 Pictures at the Loon with Trace Images (Tracie Murchison) and Macy LeBlanc Photography. Proceeds to benefit Paper Crane Project #belacilike. Includes digital download and link to order prints. 

12:30 pm: Historical Society Auction at Veterans’ Memorial Square.  Bring a chair to the auction in the square!

1:00 pm: Lincoln Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 5th Annual Redneck Regatta! This is a Loon Festival favorite! Contestants make boats out of cardboard and duct tape and race on Beautiful Mattanawcook Pond. The Boat Check in starts at 1:00 pm and the Regatta begins at 1:30pm. This is a spectacle you won’t want to miss!  Here is the  Redneck Regatta 2018 Registration Form . Sunday, July 22

10:30 am: Maranatha Riverside Church service at Cobb Field with music by Rise and Run, this will be held at Maranatha Riverside Church if it rains. 

1 pm:  Day two of the 3 on 3 Basketball tournament at Prince Thomas Park. Double elimination, 15 years old and up, 3 to 5 person teams. $5.00 entry fee. More info call 207-794-6548.

 2:30 pm: Free concert featuring The Stewarts with Brownie Sundaes to follow. Full Gospel Tabernacle 14 Fleming St.
